About

I’m a multidisciplinary designer in Seattle whose work is informed by two decades of studio art, business creation, writing and communications.

I was a sculptor and teacher in Japan, created and sold a software-based health business in CO, and, more recently, was a designer and communications director for one of the world’s largest global philanthropy networks.

I’ve created brands and logos, illustrations and icons, interfaces and websites. I’ve visualized data and given it story. I’ve designed posters, books, packaging, email, social media and other communications. I’ve made the motionless move. I love freeing slide decks from bullets. I also know my way around paper, rulers, X-acto knives and other non-tappable things, meaning the folds on your cut-away promo — super hero helmet, fake cactus or monkey doll — will line up perfectly.
